Fire Fighting Services
Pacific Helicopters has a wide range of experience fighting fires in the state of Hawaii, the Pacific Basin, and in the Western states. We have fire-fighting contracts with the State of Hawaii and the various Hawaii counties, as well as with the U.S. Forestry Service. Our fleet of fire fighting helicopters ranges from small helicopters that can carry and dump 100 gallons of water, to our larger aircraft that can lift and dump 1000 gallons. We have been involved in fighting most of the forest fires in Hawaii since the '70s, and have helicopters working on the huge San Bernardino, California fires of October and November, 2003.
